Yes, we require our tenants to obtain a renter's liability insurance policy.
We also strongly recommend our tenants obtain coverage for contents. In the event of the unexpected, such as a burst water pipe, a property owner's home insurance policy will not cover the loss and/or damage of a tenant's personal belongings.
Once your one-year tenancy agreement is up and you are on a month-to-month tenancy, you are required to inform Bridgeway Property Management in writing of your intent to vacate, 60 days in advance which can be done through the Tenant Portal. Other acceptable forms of written notice include: email, letter, or the 'Tenant's Notice to Terminate the Tenancy' N9 form.
